Amy - I don't think there is any "correct" angle for a windshield. Rather the issue of the angle is more related to the ergonomics of the rider's seated position and the asthetics of the bike.

I have always found that finding a balance between the maximum wind blockage (ergonomics) and the wind sheild following the line of the folk tubes (esthetics) was a difficult choice.

There is a compromise that when made between the two allows comfort and style at the same time.

There is no question that this is a real issue but experimenting is the only solution I know of.

When you do find the "sweet spot" don't forget to use locktite on the windshield mounting bolts so they will hold that position.

Keep the rubber side down
